After I bought my ticket to Berlin, for a moment, I was worried that my only good food options would be onions, potatoes and sausage. I was SO wrong. Berliners are pretty much the master of all cuisines. The food was delicious across the board. Not to mention beautifully presented.
Thought I didn't have the pleasure of trying any, I heard their Asian fusion is phenomenal. Every single restaurant looked amazing. There just wasn't enough time!
If you ever find yourself in Berlin, you MUST go here. We had the most incredible Turkish Kebabs. I'm running out of adjectives here to describe how amazing the food was at this place.
Sesame covered pita (crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside) stuffed with shredded chicken, lettuce, tomato, garlic sauce, and hot sauce. 2.80 euro. Wow. No words...
We ordered this accidentally. It was the only thing we had all week that was questionable tasting. For some reason, it reminds me of play dough fake food.
The Gummibear was invented in Germany. Haribo is the original gummibear company. Imitated but never duplicated! If I had the time I would have loved to visit the Haribo flagship store...buy myself some gummi airplanes and gummi sports equipment.
wow, i would like to eat pretty much everything you took a picture of.
ReplyDeleteyou should blog more, missy! that was a very enjoyable read/look through your trip ;)
